Danilo Kusanovic

Dr. Kusanovic's interests involve computational mechanics and soil–structure interaction, with applications to the analysis of resilient infrastructure. Although his background is rooted in technical research, he aims to expand his expertise into engineering education, in particular exploring how computational tools, simulation-based approaches, and fundamentals of mechanics can be integrated into the classroom to enhance student learning. Danilo's goal is to develop teaching appoaches that bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications, fostering analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and professional mindset required for the next generation of civil engineers.
