Civil and Environmental Engineering
Professor Fan is interested in transportation and energy infrastructure systems modeling and computation. Fan's group focuses on developing fundamental methods by integrating applied mathematics and engineering domain knowledge to address challenges brought by uncertainty, dynamics, and data issues. These efforts aim to shed light on improving the resilience and sustainability of future civil infrastructure systems.
