Professor Katerina Ziotopoulou received one of three 2018 Wakeham Mentoring Fellowships, an honor given to faculty and their mentees to support the exploration of mentoring best practices.
Together with her four mentees, she will work on developing blended mentoring approaches toward building and sustaining networks of first-generation international graduate students.
Formerly called the MCT Wakeham Fellowship, the Wakeham Mentoring Fellowship Program is a competitive awards program for UC Davis academic mentors. Up to five $10,000 fellowships are awarded annually for mentors to help support one or more of the applicant's UC Davis graduate-student mentees.
Congratulations, Dr. Ziotopoulou!
